Video Editing/Making Internship

As an intern at Jaikrit, your day-to-day responsibilities will include editing and assembling footage. This involves importing and organizing raw footage, trimming and sequencing video clips, and ensuring continuity and flow within the timeline. You will also be responsible for enhancing visuals by focusing on color correction and grading, applying visual effects, transitions, and motion graphics, and ensuring visual consistency and quality. In addition, you will be tasked with audio editing, which includes syncing audio with video, enhancing audio quality through noise reduction and equalization, and adding sound effects and background music. Collaboration with creative teams is essential, as you will work closely with directors, producers, and other team members to interpret and execute creative vision and direction, as well as incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed. Your role will also involve exporting and delivering the final product, ensuring videos are exported in required formats and resolutions, meeting all technical specifications, and delivering final files within deadlines. You will be responsible for maintaining video archives by organizing and managing project files and assets, as well as archiving completed projects for future reference. Staying updated with industry trends is crucial, as you will need to keep abreast of new editing software and technologies, implement best practices and innovative techniques, and ensure quality control by reviewing and ensuring the final product meets quality standards, correcting any technical issues or errors before final delivery. Project management will be a key part of your responsibilities, as you will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently. Additionally, you may have additional responsibilities such as creating and editing promotional materials, trailers, and teasers, assisting with live video production as needed, and supporting other departments with video-related tasks and projects.
