As an Audio Technician at PSGRKCW, you will be responsible for handling audio-visual operations with precision and expertise. Your role will involve setting up, operating, and managing audio and visual systems for events across various facilities such as Conference Halls, Open Auditoriums, Indoor Auditoriums, COE Meeting Halls, and Chandra Seminar Halls. It will be your duty to ensure the delivery of high-quality sound, lighting, and multimedia support during a diverse range of events, including seminars, conferences, and meetings. Collaboration is key in this role as you will need to coordinate effectively with event organizers and other departments to fulfill specific technical requirements for each event and presentation. Your responsibilities will also include the installation and configuration of new audio-visual equipment, sound systems, and projection setups for events of varying scales. Prior to each event, you will be required to thoroughly test and prepare all equipment to ensure seamless functionality. In addition to your operational tasks, you will be entrusted with managing the inventory of all audio-visual and electrical equipment. This will involve maintaining proper storage, conducting regular testing, and ensuring calibration of systems. Managing spare parts and supplies will also be part of your routine to guarantee the availability of necessary components for immediate use or replacement as needed. The safety and compliance aspect of the role are crucial. You will be expected to adhere to safety protocols and organizational standards in all your installations, setups, and maintenance practices. It is imperative that you comply with local regulations and safety standards concerning electrical systems, HVAC maintenance, and the use of audio-visual equipment to uphold a secure working environment.
