About the Role

Video Editing Intern

If you have a good eye for design, enjoy bringing raw footage to life, and want to build your editing portfolio in a fast-paced startup this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce short-form and long-form video content for marketing, social media, and internal use
• Trim, arrange, and synchronize raw footage into polished, visually compelling videos
• Add effects, transitions, music, subtitles, and motion graphics as needed
• Collaborate with the creative and content teams on campaign themes and ideas
• Ensure videos align with brand guidelines and tone
• Manage and organize project files, assets, and deliverables
• Assist in filming or shoot coordination if required

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve
• Basic understanding of video formats, codecs, and editing workflows
• Creative mindset with attention to pacing, transitions, and visual clarity
• Ability to follow briefs and meet tight deadlines
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Portfolio or samples of previous work (YouTube links, Google Drive, etc.)

Nice to Have

• Experience with motion graphics and animation tools like After Effects
• Familiarity with Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and trending video formats
• Basic knowledge of color correction and audio balancing
• Interest in storytelling and content strategy
