As a Video Editing Intern at Cars24, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to our marketing efforts by creating compelling video content. This internship is designed to provide you with practical experience in video production and editing while promoting our brand and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Video Editing:

    Edit and assemble video footage into engaging promotional videos, ensuring they align with our brand identity and marketing goals.
  2. Content Development:

    Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop ideas for video projects, including vehicle showcases, customer testimonials, and promotional videos.
  3. Stay Informed:

    Keep up with industry trends, editing techniques, and software advancements to bring fresh and innovative ideas to our marketing content.
  4. Editing Software:

    Utilise industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro) to enhance video quality.
  5. Visual Enhancements:

    Add visual effects, transitions, and graphics to make videos visually appealing and informative.
  6. Footage Management:

    Organise and maintain video assets, keeping track of our vehicle inventory footage, graphics, and project files.
  7. Audio Editing:

    Work on sound design, including selecting background music, voiceovers, and audio improvements.
  8. Quality Control:

    Review and refine videos for consistency, including color correction, audio sync, and overall visual appeal.
  9. Feedback Integration:

    Collaborate with the team to gather feedback and make necessary improvements to videos.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for video production and editing.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A portfolio or examples of prior video editing work (if available).
  • Bonus points if you can shoot videos.

Preferred Qualifications (not mandatory):

  • Experience with motion graphics or animation software.
  • Familiarity with colour correction and grading.
  • Knowledge of sound design and audio editing.
  • Enrolled in or recent graduate of a film, video production, or related degree program.
