If you’re someone who understands storytelling, loves podcasts, and has a critical eye for video content, you’ll thrive in this role.


Key Responsibilities


As a Podcast QC & Timestamps Specialist, your primary role will be to watch full podcast episodes and extract the most engaging, high-impact moments that can be transformed into compelling reels, shorts, and highlight clips. You’ll be responsible for maintaining high editorial standards by performing thorough quality checks on both short-form and long-form content — ensuring flawless grammar in captions, excellent pacing, strong narrative flow, and the appropriate use of b-rolls and branded visual assets.


You’ll collaborate closely with video editors, providing structured feedback and ensuring all deliverables align with company SOPs and creative guidelines. This role also requires a strong understanding of platform-specific content trends (across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc.), and a final review responsibility before anything goes live — making sure each piece of content is polished, on-brand, and error-free.


Moreover 20-30% of your time will be spend editing videos.


Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Minimum

    1 year of hands-on video editing experience

  • Proven experience in

    timestamping and clip curation

    from long-form content
  • Strong command of English

    (grammar, spelling, sentence flow)
  • Familiarity with

    US podcasts, current events, pop culture, and meme references

  • Comfortable using the

    Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

    , especially Premiere Pro and After Effects
  • Working knowledge of

    Microsoft 365

    (Excel, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
  • Clear communication skills — ability to give structured, actionable feedback to editors
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to spot subtle errors
  • Understanding of visual pacing and storytelling techniques in video
  • Experience working in a podcast post-production agency or creative studio
  • Familiarity with AI editing tools (like Descript, Opus, etc.)

·      Knowledge of content trends on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

·      Basic understanding of content repurposing and multi-platform strategy
