As a Video Animator specializing in Children & Content, you will play a crucial role in creating captivating animated movies that resonate with a young audience. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with writers, directors, and content creators to understand project requirements, develop visual concepts, and translate scripts into engaging animated sequences suitable for children. - Designing and animating appealing characters, props, and environments that connect with a young audience. - Creating high-quality 3D animations, including character animation, motion graphics, visual effects, and scene transitions. - Proactively identifying and leveraging AI-powered animation tools to streamline workflows, improve quality, and accelerate production timelines. - Developing storyboards and animatics to visualize the narrative flow and pacing of animated movies. - Organizing and managing animation assets to ensure consistency and efficiency. - Working closely with sound design, voice acting, and editing teams to deliver a cohesive final product. - Incorporating feedback and making revisions in a timely and professional manner. - Staying updated with animation techniques, software, and AI advancements relevant to children's content. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Animation or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 2-4 years of professional experience as a Video Animator, with a focus on projects for children. - Proficiency in industry-standard animation software like Adobe After Effects, Toon Boom Harmony, ZBrush, Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max. - Demonstrable experience and understanding of effectively integrating and utilizing AI tools in the animation workflow. - Strong grasp of animation principles and excellent drawing skills with a keen eye for detail. - Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate content for children. - Strong storytelling abilities, excellent communication, collaboration skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. - A strong online portfolio or showreel showcasing a diverse range of animation styles, specifically focusing on children's content.
