The Vice Principal supports the Principal in managing the academic and administrative operations of the nursing institution while ensuring compliance with Indian Nursing Council (INC) standards. Responsibilities include assisting in curriculum planning, supervising faculty, coordinating student activities, overseeing clinical training and examinations, and maintaining academic quality. The Vice Principal also supports faculty development, addresses grievances, fosters a positive learning environment, and represents the institution in professional forums. They help build collaborations with healthcare organizations and act as a bridge between the Principal, faculty, and students. Candidates must hold a Master’s in Nursing (MSN) or higher, with at least 12 years of nursing education experience, including 5 years in teaching, along with strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
