Vice President - Test Lead

As a Vice President-Test Lead, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and enhance software solutions using various engineering methodologies to deliver business, platform, and technology capabilities to our customers and colleagues. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Selenium, and Web Services (REST API). Your experience should also include extensive knowledge of DevOps tools like GitLab/GitHub, as well as managing and leading test automation frameworks based on Java and Selenium. Collaboration within Agile/Scrum teams, active participation in sprint planning, reviews, and demos, along with exceptional problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills are essential. Upholding engineering best practices is a key aspect of this role. Additional skills such as a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field will be highly valued. Your main purpose as a Vice President-Test Lead will be to devise, develop, and implement testing strategies to validate functionality, performance, and user experience. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and rectify defects, continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies, and ensure software quality and reliability. Key accountabilities include: - Developing and implementing comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Creating and executing automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects and quality issues early. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, contribute to design discussions, and establish acceptance criteria. - Conducting root cause analysis for identified defects and supporting developers in defect resolution. - Participating in code reviews, promoting a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing, and staying updated on industry technology trends. As a Vice President, you are expected to contribute to setting strategies, driving requirements, and recommending changes. You will plan resources, budgets, and policies, ensure continuous improvement, and escalate policy/procedure breaches if necessary. You will either lead a team or act as a subject matter expert within your discipline, guiding technical direction, leading collaborative assignments, and coaching team members. Furthermore, you will advise key stakeholders, manage and mitigate risks, demonstrate leadership in risk management, and have a comprehensive understanding of the organization functions to contribute to its goals.
