The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing software development projects, with strong emphasis on technical leadership, Agile/Scrum methodologies, process optimization, and team management. . Will be reporting to Dutch CX Team.

Key Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Architectural Leadership

• Define the long-term technology vision and platform architecture roadmap.

• Oversee architecture for web, mobile, backend, cloud-native, and distributed systems.

• Champion engineering excellence through DDD, clean architecture, API-first design, and modularization.

• Drive modernization initiatives across microservices, serverless, event-driven systems, and data-driven products.

2. Backend Engineering Leadership

• Lead backend engineering teams across multiple technology stacks: Java / Spring Boot | Node.js / NestJS | Python / FastAPI | Go | .NET Core

• Architect scalable, secure, high-performance backend platforms.

• Oversee API ecosystems (REST, GraphQL, gRPC) and integration frameworks.

• Implement engineering best practices: clean coding, TDD, code reviews, CI/CD, automation.

3. Frontend & Mobile Engineering Leadership

• Guide development of modern user interfaces using React, Angular, Vue.

• Lead mobile development across Kotlin, Swift, Flutter, React Native.

• Ensure exceptional UX, UI consistency, performance, accessibility, and cross-platform reliability.

• Promote component-driven development and design systems.

4. Cloud-Native Application Engineering

• Architect and deliver cloud-native solutions on AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Use serverless, microservices, managed databases, API Gateways, and event-driven components.

• Optimize cloud usage for scalability, resilience, and cost.

5. DevOps, Automation & Engineering Velocity

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation across all tech stacks.

• Drive containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments, GitOps (ArgoCD/Flux).

• Integrate automated testing (unit, integration, performance, security). • Build full observability (logs, metrics, traces) using modern tooling.

6. Solution Architecture & Technical Pre-Sales

• Act as the technical face of the organization during enterprise sales cycles.

• Lead requirement discovery workshops, business-technical mapping, and solution scoping.

•Design complete solution architectures(application + cloud + data + AI).

• Own RFP/RFI responses with detailed technical documentation and architectural diagrams.

• Conduct product demos, technical presentations, PoCs, and proposal defense calls.

• Partner with sales, product, and delivery teams to craft winning solution strategies.

7. Application Security & Governance

• Enforce secure coding, SAST/DAST scanning, dependency scanning, API security, and secret management. • Implement secure SDLC and continuous compliance. • Create guidelines for authentication, authorization, encryption, and identity best practices.

9. Leadership, Culture & People Development

• Lead teams across backend, frontend, mobile, architecture, DevOps, data, and AI/ML.

• Build an engineering culture focused on innovation, speed, ownership, and quality.

• Mentor architects, engineering managers, and senior technical talent. • Foster collaboration between engineering, product, design, and business teams.

Qualifications

• 17-25 years of experience in software engineering and architectural leadership roles.

• Strong experience across backend, frontend, mobile, cloud, data, and AI solutions.

• Significant experience in solution architecture and technical pre-sales.

• Proven track record in scaling engineering teams and digital platforms. • Excellent communication, presentation, and client engagement skills. Success Metrics
