Vice President - Technology

As the Vice President - Technology at our company, your primary responsibilities will include: - **Technical Leadership:** You will guide the team in best practices for coding, architecture, and design. It will be your responsibility to review code and ensure high-quality standards are maintained. - **Hands-on Development:** Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using Java, Python, and SQL. - **Team Management:** You will mentor and lead a team of engineers, helping them grow technically and professionally. Conducting performance reviews and supporting career development will also be part of your role. - **Project Oversight:** Drive end-to-end delivery of technical solutions, from requirements gathering to deployment. - **Collaboration:** Work closely with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. - **Architecture & Design:** Contribute to architectural decisions and technical strategies to scale and improve system performance. - **Problem Solving:** Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to ensure system reliability and performance. To excel in this role, you should meet the following requisites: - Expertise in Java/Python, and SQL. - Proven experience in leading and mentoring software engineering teams. - Strong understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms. - Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and writing complex queries. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and CI/CD pipelines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
