Vice President - Senior Low Latency Java Developer

As a Software Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and developing the Client Connectivity platform to establish best-in-class solutions worldwide. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing low-latency solutions on the Java stack and HFT Framework. - Ensuring that business requirements are understood and met at all delivery levels. - Establishing coding, testing, debugging, and implementation standards. - Building relationships with internal and external teams for end-to-end delivery of prioritized connectivity streams. - Communicating effectively with various teams including business, development, QA, infrastructure, and production support. - Assisting in troubleshooting and issue resolution across different user groups. - Establishing strong working relationships across different technology areas. - Providing ongoing support post-implementation and working on new enhancements and additional phases. - Collaborating with a global development team to leverage global tools and technologies effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of relevant experience in Low latency Java Stack. - Knowledge and experience in building ultra-low latency platforms would be advantageous. - Working experience of Microservices architecture is preferred. - Good exposure to Client connectivity application development. - Understanding of electronic trading and financial markets. - Experience with FIX/Binary protocols. - Exposure to Open HFT & Chronicle would be a big plus. - Experience working in a trading environment. - Strong analytical skills. - Familiarity with DevOps tools, CI/CD, and BitBucket.
