Vice President - Renewals

Role Overview: You will be responsible for leading, developing, and enhancing the capabilities of Deal Ready Associates to support bankers in delivering exceptional customer service for all lending transactions. Your role will involve driving operational efficiency, productivity, and ensuring compliance with risk and regulatory requirements while assisting customers in achieving their financial objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass various types of lending activities, including simple and complex loans, renewals, and modifications. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the Deal Ready Associates team to ensure input quality, file compliance, operational efficiency, customer Net Promoter Score (NPS), and time to decision for all lending transactions initiated by Business & Private Banking (B&PB) division. - Create a customer-centric service excellence culture to support bankers in meeting customer needs effectively and efficiently. - Proactively manage risk by complying with policies and regulations, performing controls, adhering to processes and procedures, and escalating any identified events, issues, or breaches. Qualifications Required: - Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and stakeholders. - Ability to evaluate applications, financial statements, credit history, and possess pre/live/post underwriting experience. - Deep understanding of banking credit products, regulatory and compliance requirements. - Strong numerical abilities to analyze data and financial metrics. - Knowledge and experience in lending processes and credit evaluation.
