Description
As an Investment Counsellor at HSBC within the International Wealth and Premier Banking team, your primary role will be to provide financial analysis and investment recommendations to customers with Funds under management of greater than INR 10M. Your responsibilities will include: - Strengthening HSBC's image as a leading wealth provider by providing clients with access to advanced technical product expertise. - Supporting Private Relationship Managers (PRMs) to gain more clients' confidence and trust in HSBC's capabilities and increase the effectiveness and quality of needs fulfilled for target clients. - Assisting PRMs in deepening and growing client relationships by identifying client needs, offering relevant wealth solutions, and providing technical analysis. - Conducting portfolio reviews, assessing product suitability, and identifying opportunities and managing risks. - Collaborating with PRMs in client meetings, providing advice based on technical knowledge, and acting as a second point of contact for specific products and solutions. - Improving PRMs' product-specific technical knowledge through effective on-the-job coaching and training. - Taking ownership of Investment Sales and Distribution business for the assigned patch and running strategic objectives such as AUM Growth, Net Sales consistency, PRM productivity, and client coverage. To be considered for this role, you should have: - At least 8 years of relevant experience in a Bank or Asset Management Companies. - An MBA from a reputed institute preferred, a Post Graduate Degree (preferably in Economics, Mathematics, Finance), or professional qualifications like CA. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Proven ability in productivity enhancement. - Expertise in banks systems and processes, sales, financial planning, and communication. - Knowledge of sales and service techniques, industry and sector knowledge, and bank operating platforms. Additionally, you should possess: - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Coaching techniques on a team or one-to-one basis. - Planning and organizing skills.
