Vice President of Software Engineering-Treasury/Capital Markets

As an Engineering Manager (Hands-on) in Treasury & Capital Markets at our company, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of engineers to architect, design, and deliver cutting-edge platforms for Treasury & Markets. With a focus on high availability, resilience, and scalability, you will be responsible for translating business problems into technology solutions, driving modernization initiatives, and leveraging AI tools for enhanced productivity. Your key responsibilities will include leading and mentoring a team of engineers, staying hands-on in architecture and coding, and driving engineering excellence in areas such as clean code, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native best practices. You will also be involved in solutioning by architecting microservices-based platforms and leading modernization journeys towards cloud adoption and containerization. Additionally, you will apply AI tools for rapid prototyping and code generation, as well as drive the use of ML/AI in areas such as cashflow forecasting and risk monitoring. Your qualifications should include a strong background in software engineering, hands-on experience with Java, Python, and microservices, as well as domain knowledge in Treasury, ALM, Risk, and trading workflows.
