Vice President of Engineering

Your role at FluidCloud will involve the following responsibilities: - Providing strategic and technical leadership for the engineering organization, focusing on cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation. - Leading the design, development, deployment, and scaling of the Cloud Cloning platform using Go and cloud-native tooling. - Owning the technical roadmap and collaborating closely with product management and executive leadership to deliver scalable and reliable cloud solutions. - Building and mentoring a high-performing, agile engineering team with a focus on quality and continuous improvement. - Overseeing DevOps automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and cloud operations across public and multi-cloud environments. - Ensuring system security, compliance, and operational resilience. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and customer success, to align development efforts with customer needs and market trends. - Driving engineering best practices such as code reviews, testing, monitoring, and incident response. - Managing budgets, resource planning, hiring, and vendor relationships. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven leadership experience as VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or similar, with hands-on expertise in Go programming. - Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud infrastructure technologies. - Good to have experience in DevOps practices including automation, CI/CD, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible). - Experience in building and scaling cloud-native products and distributed systems. - Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and team-building skills. - Proven ability to mentor and inspire engineering teams. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.,
