As a Vice President of Investment Performance at Oaktree, you will play a crucial role in delivering best-in-class analysis and reporting to investors, investment professionals, and organizational partners globally. Your primary focus will be on credit instruments and markets, working closely with deal teams and back office to ensure accuracy in investment transactions. Your responsibilities will include: - Establishing and advancing systems and processes for preparing, reviewing, and delivering investment performance metrics, extracts, and reports globally. - Overseeing the production and delivery of analyses, dashboards, and reports for portfolios on a recurring and ad-hoc basis. - Compiling data and updating portfolio quantitative reports as needed. - Creating bespoke analyses to respond to ad hoc requests from investors and for requests for proposals. - Leading fundraising support activities across strategies and working with performance attribution and GIPS team for liquid credit strategies. In terms of technology enablement, you will: - Utilize Python, SQL, and data visualization tools to manage and manipulate large data sets. - Lead the implementation of process changes, automated reports, and technology systems. - Generate standard investor reporting and dynamic performance metrics. You will also be responsible for: - Collaborating with organizational partners to produce and advance deliverables. - Identifying opportunities for creating superior data solutions and building efficiencies. - Managing team members, resourcing requirements, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of experience in asset management or financial services. - 6+ years of experience in managing operations and personnel. - Deep knowledge of alternative investments and relevant reporting metrics. - Proficiency in Python, SQL, and data visualization tools. - Strong communication skills and project management understanding. - Availability to work during U.S. PST and India IST working hours. A bachelor's degree is required, and additional licenses or certifications are a plus.
