Job Description

As a Vice President of Investment Performance at Oaktree, you will play a crucial role in delivering best-in-class analysis and reporting to investors, ensuring accurate representation of investment transactions, and enhancing data processes and technology to support investor reporting and fundraising efforts. Your responsibilities will include: - Establishing systems and processes to prepare, review, and deliver investment performance metrics, extracts, and reports globally - Overseeing the production and delivery of analyses, dashboards, and reports for portfolios on a recurring and ad-hoc basis - Compiling and updating portfolio quantitative reports - Creating bespoke analyses for investors" requests, including those for RFPs - Leading fundraising support activities across strategies and collaborating with cross-functional partners - Utilizing Python, SQL, and data visualization tools to manage and manipulate large data sets - Leading process changes, automated reports, and technology systems implementation - Managing relationships with organizational partners and identifying opportunities for data solutions and efficiencies - Validating and enriching deal data throughout the investment life cycle Qualifications required for this role include: - 10+ years of experience in asset management, investment banking, or financial services - 6+ years of experience in operations and personnel management - Deep knowledge of alternative investments and relevant reporting metrics - Experience with Python, SQL, and data visualization tools - Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally - Basic understanding of project management software and accounting principles - Availability to work during U.S. PST and India IST working hours Personal attributes that will contribute to your success in this role include being a self-starter, strong interpersonal skills, a natural problem solver, attention to detail, passion for process improvement, and integrity. A bachelor's degree is required, and additional qualifications such as a Chartered Accountant license, CFA/CIPM/MBA finance are a plus.
