Job Title: Vice President & Head Deposits, Debit Cards, Private & Personal Banking Channel Investments Product Manager Corporate Title : AVP Role Description This role covers managing Deposit (CASA, Term Deposits, Refinance, Debit Cards) portfolio, managing Funding & Liquidity for Private Bank India and leading channel activities for Private, Personal and NRI client segments. Your key responsibilities Financial Resource Management Ensure adequate funding is available for India franchise with a judicious mix of client deposits and refinance / other instruments. Ensure ALM related risk is well managed with close & regular interactions with Treasury, Coverage and lending teams and relevant initiatives. Ensures correct TPs / LPs / Allocation is correctly charged by Treasury and paid by Treasury to PB India. Manage our relationship with Refinance Institutions Formulate and implement strategies to ensure deposit target is met. Product Management Deposits, NRI Banking, Debit Cards Responsible for creating and maintaining a strong and differentiated product proposition for CASA, Time deposits, NRI Banking in line with our brand strategy. Responsible for New product launches including New Product Approvals s for the deposit portfolio. Responsible for overall relationship of VISA & Euronet & Stitch strategic partnerships to drive debit card volumes and spends. Launch innovative campaigns/ solutions to enhance POS volumes and deploy captive ATMS @ payroll relationships. Regulatory compliance Internal & External 1st port of call for all audit related requirements (both internal & external) on the deposit portfolio. Owner of all policy notes on the deposit portfolio including bank wide deposit policy, cross border rules. Responsible for interpreting and implementing policies released by various regulators for PB India. Works closely with compliance, legal, DCO & other departments to ensure deposit portfolio is compliant with both internal and external regulations. Digital Initiatives Responsible for key initiatives across digital channels (online banking, mobile banking) and fully digitized deposit client onboarding platform which not only drive deposits but also attract new to bank clients. Guiding Agile teams to ensure our digital offering for both Individual and Non-Individual client segments is in sync with market and regulatory requirements. Lead for improving digital penetration in our client segments by identifying various segments and designing programs with marketing (including communication highlighting existing benefits of the digital platform) to increase digital platform acceptance which is very critical to increase stickiness of clients and prevent attrition. Channel Management & Coverage Support 1st port of call for our branches on queries related to the Deposit portfolio & Client proposition. Support/ lead on matters related to KYC / AFC & other regulatory requirements. Work with marketing & coverage teams to launch customize campaigns to support sales and drive productivity of deposit products. Provide analytics support for increasing sales across all products & training Coverage teams on all aspects of deposit portfolio & client proposition. Formulate score sheets for sales units with the India Head for Private & Branch banking which includes incentive calculations and payouts against quarterly targets and ongoing campaigns. Your skills and experience Education | Certification (Recommended): Graduation: Bachelors in Engineering / Technology / Maths / Commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Management/ any other. Post-graduation: Chartered Accountant / MBA/PGDM Preferred. Experience: 15/20 years years plus in Banking/ Wealth Management
