VI Operator

As a VI Operator, your role involves performing visual inspections of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to ensure compliance with IPC standards and maintain high product quality in an EMS environment. You will play a critical part in verifying the quality of assembled products. Key Responsibilities: - Perform visual inspection of PCB assemblies post SMT and/or through-hole processes. - Identify defects like solder bridges, missing components, polarity issues, and misalignments. - Utilize magnification tools such as microscopes and magnifiers for detailed inspection. - Ensure compliance with IPC-A-610 standards or customer-specific quality criteria. - Document inspection results accurately and maintain inspection records. - Tag and isolate non-conforming products for rework or repair. - Effectively communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, and Production teams. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by reporting frequent or recurring issues. - Adhere to ESD and cleanroom protocols as necessary. - Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inspection area. Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus. - Previous experience in an EMS or electronics manufacturing setting is preferred. - Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards (certification is advantageous). - Strong visual acuity and manual dexterity. - Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. - Basic computer skills for data entry and inspection logs. - Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during inspection work. In this role, you will be based in Gurugram, Haryana and expected to work in person during day or morning shifts.
