ViewRay Systems is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer who will share the company's passion for conquering cancer and contribute to innovating and developing novel cancer therapy systems. As an Electrical Design Engineer at ViewRay Systems, your responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of Embedded control system/sub-system solutions and contributing to their development process. You will be responsible for carrying out design tasks of electrical schematics, building and testing proof of concept and prototype modules using Altium designer tool. Additionally, you will perform tasks related to testing prototypes and the functionality of one and multiple PCB assemblies. It is essential to apply basic software skills and OEM tools to analyze data, develop hands-on ability to operate a variety of control systems, and create effective test methods to meet various design requirements. Technical documentation, design analysis, and following internal design controls and change control processes will also be part of your responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing design files and materials according to guidelines. The ideal candidate for this position should have a BSEE or other related degree, along with education and demonstrated interest in circuit design, FPGA, and software. Excellent communication skills, troubleshooting abilities, and problem-solving skills are required. The candidate must be capable of working around a strong magnetic field and should have familiarity with Microsoft Office tools. Preferred qualifications include a BSEE with 3 years of experience, demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities, effective oral and written communication skills, and experience with software such as C, C++, Python, Linux, and Shall script. This is a full-time position based in Chandigarh, India. The work location is in person, and candidates are required to relocate before starting work.
