VFX Artist

As a VFX Artist at Gamix Labs, you will play a crucial role in creating dynamic, optimized, and visually appealing effects that enhance gameplay, storytelling, and overall user experience in gaming projects. Your creativity will directly impact the projects at hand. Responsibilities: - Create high-quality VFX for mobile and casual games, including explosions, spells, hit FX, environmental effects, and UI FX - Design and implement particle systems using Unity (highly preferred) - Develop procedural or advanced effects using Houdini when necessary - Collaborate closely with animators, designers, and developers for seamless integration - Maintain visual consistency with the project's art direction - Optimize effects for performance on various mobile devices - Stay updated with the latest VFX trends, tools, and techniques Qualifications Required: - 6 months to 1 year of experience (Freshers with strong reels may also apply) - Proficiency in Unity VFX / Particle System (Preferred & Important) - Basic to intermediate knowledge in Houdini - Strong understanding of timing, motion, energy, and visual impact - Ability to create stylized and game-ready effects - Strong creativity, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail - A portfolio or VFX reel is mandatory If you love crafting visually stunning effects that bring games to life, Gamix Labs is the place for you.
