2D Spine Animator

As a 2D Spine Animator at Gamix Labs, you will be responsible for creating computer-generated animations of symbols, effects, UI, and characters using Spine & After Effects. You will play a crucial role in developing rich graphics games by leveraging your expertise in 2D spine animation. Your key responsibilities will include: - Creating animations focusing on human, animals, creatures, and mechanical movement. - Demonstrating advanced understanding of animation principles like timing, staging, anticipation, squash and stretch. - Collaborating with the Art Director and 2D Artists to finalize animations for each project. - Providing artwork for review and incorporating feedback with quick turnaround. - Modifying game art under tight deadlines. To succeed in this role, you must possess the following qualifications: - Understanding of a broad range of game types, products, and platforms. - Ability to complete complex data setup of game art parts and utilize new techniques with support. - Familiarity with the game art development process and proposing process improvements. - Aligning art creation with functional spec/graphic proposal, including conceptual art and storyboards. - Creating animations that visually reinforce game rules and flow. - Proficiency in digital inking, rendering methods, and various styles. - Knowledge of Adobe applications like After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc. Additional Details: Gamix Labs provides various perks to its employees, including paid sick leaves, a five-day work week, loyalty and project-based bonuses, and access to photography, board game, and music clubs.
