Veterinary Surgeon

• Diagnose illnesses and injuries in animals through clinical examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Prescribe appropriate medical treatments and perform surgical procedures when required.
• Carry out routine health checks and administer vaccinations.
• Perform soft tissue and/or minor to major surgical procedures as per case requirements.
• Provide emergency and on-call services for critical cases.
• Advise pet owners on animal care, nutrition, hygiene, and post-treatment recovery.
• Make ethical and professional decisions, including end-of-life care and euthanasia when necessary.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient medical records and treatment histories.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and veterinary regulations.
• Collaborate with veterinary staff and support teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Educational Qualification:

  Master’s degree in Veterinary Science (M.V.Sc or equivalent).
• Valid registration with the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) or relevant state veterinary council.
• Proven experience in clinical practice and surgical procedures is preferred.
• Strong diagnostic, surgical, and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate approach towards animals and pet owners.
• Ability to handle emergency cases and work on-call when required.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
