Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Surgeon with proven experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to animal welfare, possess excellent surgical and diagnostic skills, and be able to communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans and preventive care. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to diagnose various health issues in small animals (dogs and cats primarily). Perform routine and emergency surgical procedures, including soft tissue surgeries and spay/neuters. Interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and blood work, to develop appropriate treatment plans. Administer vaccinations, prescribe medications, and manage wound care. Provide guidance and educate pet owners on nutrition, preventive healthcare, and post-operative care. Maintain accurate and detailed electronic medical records for all patients. Collaborate effectively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure a high standard of care. Manage emergency cases and make timely, informed decisions under pressure. Required Qualifications and Skills: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H. or M.V.Sc) from a recognized institution. A valid license to practice veterinary medicine in India (registered with the Veterinary Council of India). Minimum of 2+ years of clinical experience, specifically in a surgical role, is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and surgical techniques. Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to animal care and client interactions. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with calmness and patience.
