Job Description

Description We are seeking a skilled Vertex Developer with extensive experience in AS400 and Oracle EBS to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining Vertex applications, ensuring seamless integration with AS400 and Oracle EBS systems. The candidate should have a strong understanding of tax compliance and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams to deliver effective solutions. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Vertex integrations with AS400 and Oracle EBS systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of existing Vertex applications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vertex, AS400, and Oracle EBS. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in software development. Prepare technical documentation and provide training to end-users when necessary. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7-8 years of experience in Vertex development, specifically with AS400 and Oracle EBS. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or PL/SQL. Experience with database management systems, particularly Oracle databases. Knowledge of tax compliance and regulations relevant to Vertex solutions. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
