Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer

Job Purpose:

The V&V Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the verification and validation of BioGenex instruments and software solutions. This role involves preparing and executing test plans, validating system functionalities, and ensuring compliance with user and software requirements. The V&V Engineer will work closely with the design and development teams to ensure all products meet regulatory and quality standards before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans, test cases, and validation protocols in compliance with user and software requirements.
• Conduct verification of all hardware configurations and design modifications.
• Perform verification and validation (V&V) of software products and system validation to ensure compliance with user requirements.
• Prepare test summary reports, track bugs, and document findings.
• Maintain and update requirement traceability matrices.
• Ensure the technical accuracy of V&V protocols, verifying that design specifications and user needs are met.
• Identify and highlight non-conformities, providing inputs to the design team for corrections.
• Properly track and communicate all non-conformance issues and document objective evidence for each instance.
• Ensure timely completion of all verification and validation activities, along with proper documentation.
• Validate any new part or feature before implementation in BioGenex instruments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong experience in testing and validating system features and functionalities.
• Hands-on experience in testing and validation of user interfaces to meet user needs.
• Ability to develop test cases for comprehensive validation of all features.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with the development team for bug resolution.
• Proficiency in documenting verification and validation processes for all instruments.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in medical device testing.

Education & Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.

Experience Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in testing and validation of instruments in the following domains:
• Medical Devices (IVD, Molecular Pathology Systems)
• Industrial Automation
• Automotive
• Robotics
