Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Lead the
vehicle-level integration
of all systems and subsystems (engine, transmission, hydraulics, chassis, electrical, cab, etc.) for tractor programs.
Ensure
compatibility and alignment
among subsystems for optimal performance, packaging, and serviceability.
Conduct
virtual and physical validation
of vehicle layouts using
UG NX/Unigraphics CAD software
, and prototype testing.
Define and manage
vehicle-level requirements, interfaces, and DVP (Design Validation Plan)
.
Support
concept development
, vehicle packaging studies, and DFMEA activities.
Coordinate with design, CAE, testing, and manufacturing teams to resolve integration issues.
Support prototype build and validation phases, including fitment, layout, and performance checks.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure subsystem designs meet vehicle-level targets.
Participate in
vehicle benchmarking
, specification development, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Document and report vehicle integration issues, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience in
tractor or off-highway vehicle development
.
Exposure to
prototype build and testing
phases.
Knowledge of
system engineering and model-based development
principles.
Experience with
manufacturing feasibility
and
serviceability considerations
during design.
