About The Role : We are seeking a skilled Veeam Backup Administrator/Engineer to manage, configure, and optimize our backup and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with Veeam Backup & Replication, cloud-based backup strategies, and data protection best practices. Design, implement, and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication solutions. Configure and manage backup policies, schedules, and storage repositories. Monitor backup performance, troubleshoot failures, and ensure data integrity. Manage backup and disaster recovery processes for virtual and physical environments. Implement backup retention policies and compliance requirements. Perform regular backup testing and recovery drills to validate data integrity. Optimize backup storage and deduplication to improve efficiency. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Veeam with VMware, Hyper-V, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Ensure disaster recovery strategies align with business continuity plans. Document backup configurations, recovery procedures, and system changes. Required Qualifications & Skills: Proven experience with Veeam Backup & Replication in enterprise environments. Strong understanding of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and storage solutions. Experience with VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and cloud backup (AWS/Azure). Knowledge of tape backup solutions, NAS, SAN, and object storage. Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation is a plus. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent documentation and communication skills. Certifications like Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or related IT certifications are a plus.
