As a Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VA/VE) Tooling Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting value-added opportunities across product design, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Your main responsibility will be to collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance overall product and process efficiency. This full-time, on-site role is located in Hyderabad and requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in precision tooling and die development. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop Tools & Dies for Stampings & Sheet Metal, Pressure Die Casting (PDC)/Sand Castings, and Plastic Injection Molds - Utilize VA/VE techniques to optimize cost, cycle time, and manufacturability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify value-added opportunities - Work on enhancing product design, cost optimization, and operational efficiency - Use Design & Simulation Tools such as CREO, Mastercam, and Moldflow - Apply Quality & Process Tools like PPAP, PFMEA, and Control Plan - Utilize Advanced MS Excel for cost modeling and process tracking Qualifications Required: - Diploma/Graduate from NTTF, GTTC, or equivalent Tool Engineering institutions - Strong foundation in Tool Design, CAM Programming, and Manufacturing Processes - Prior experience with Machine Tool Builders or OEMs - Proven record in VA/VE initiatives to optimize cost, performance, and manufacturability - Experience in the design and development of Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems for machine tools - Knowledge of integrating machine tool accessories, peripherals, and machine control units - Hands-on experience with system schematics, valves, cylinders, pumps, and automation modules Please note that this is a summary of the job description provided.
