Valuations Associate

You will be supporting the Valuations team, focusing on portfolio account surveillance, monitoring, reporting, and valuation. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive financial analysis and research of prospect and portfolio companies, as well as the industries they operate in. You will analyze various aspects such as management, cash flows, asset collateral quality/coverage, deal structure, covenants, and perform sector analysis to evaluate a firm's competitive position. Additionally, you will be responsible for generating detailed financial models, including projections, covenant sensitivity analysis, duration and IRR calculations, among others. You will assist in creating credit/performance reports and presentations, while continuously monitoring assigned product sectors and portfolio companies. Collaboration with legal, financial, valuation, and accounting advisors on account management, diligence, and documentation will also be part of your role. Moreover, you will lead and contribute to project-oriented assignments. The ideal candidate should have the ability to excel in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment while focusing on accuracy and efficiency. A minimum of 5 years of related experience is desired, and an MBA or CFA qualification would be a plus. Experience in modeling with R is advantageous. Strong quantitative and qualitative skills, along with the ability to think flexibly and multitask effectively, are essential. Candidates with an undergraduate degree from a reputable institution, with a minimum GPA of 3.5, are preferred. Experience in a formal bank credit training or a top sell-side bank analyst program would be an advantage. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.,
