Role Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Banker Corporate Finance Analyst to join our Corporate Finance team. This role will focus on supporting the company's strategic initiatives including mergers & acquisitions, capital structuring, fundraising, and other corporate development activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Job Accountability 1. Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and other corporate finance initiatives. 2. Support senior members of the Group CF BD team to undertake due diligence through: a. Data collection and assistance in performing desktop research on a particular opportunity including the nature of the opportunity and the stakeholders involved b. Assist in conducting detailed due diligence on the country, market, competitive environment and company-specific commercial, financial and legal issues. c. Review and analyze information memorandums, vendor due diligence reports and summarise key areas of risks and upsides for senior CF BD team members 3. Work with senior Group CFBD members or business units or regional offices to prepare detailed financial models to project business performance and conduct operational & financial sensitivity analysis to determine economic viability of the opportunity to DP World 4. Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for internal project approvals 5. Assist in the preparation of handover files to the Regional Office responsible for the implementation and integration of the new opportunity 6.Consolidating information in a format which is appropriate for Senior Management review 8. Support Group Treasury to raise external finance for new business units. 9. Prepare and/or review financial models that are appropriate for external lenders, third-party financiers, etc. in order to determine the optimum capital structure Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in transaction advisory, deal structuring, or capital raising . Strong understanding of corporate strategy, capital markets, and M&A processes . Team-oriented mindset with a proactive, results-driven attitude. Qualification Minimum requirement of a Bachelors degree; and Professional qualification in accountancy or finance (such as CPA/CIMA/CFA/CMA/ACA/ACCA etc) and 3-7 years total work experience working on M&A transactions with a track record of closing transactions working within a corporate strategy role , or at an reputable investment bank / advisory firm or BIG 4 professional services firm Excellent Financial Modelling capabilities and familiarity with working on MS Powerpoint / MS Word is essential. Working with Bloomberg, FactSet, Capital IQ databases is desirable Experience in the ports or general infrastructure investment industry, with an ability to demonstrate an understanding of the value of asset intensive, long life, cash generative businesses Very strong analytical skills
