Job Description

You will be working as an Associate II - Semiconductor Product Validation at UST, where you will play a crucial role in supporting platform validation activities for firmware. Your responsibilities will include conducting benchmarking, BIOS, graphics, and component-level testing, executing predefined test cases, and reporting results to ensure platform quality and stability. Additionally, you will run automated tests using Azure DevOps pipelines, set up and maintain test beds, flash firmware, collect logs and diagnostics for defect analysis, and log defects in ticketing tools for resolution by engineering teams. It is essential to adhere to lab safety protocols, ESD handling procedures, and ensure a clean and secure work area. As an ideal candidate, you should possess expertise in Windows platform validation, firmware flashing, hardware setup, Azure DevOps test execution, system log collection, and defect reporting. Desired skills include familiarity with BIOS, graphics, and firmware testing, knowledge of debugging principles and crash log analysis, experience in a hardware or embedded lab environment, as well as effective communication and teamwork skills. The qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or 1-3 years of experience in system validation or platform testing.
