Validation Technician

Job Description: As a member of our team, you will be responsible for performing customer support activities related to the installation, preventative and corrective maintenance, and testing of electronic equipment and sub-systems utilized for monitoring nuclear power levels in the nuclear industry. Your primary tasks will include conducting electrical testing of components, printed circuits, assemblies, and systems. Additionally, you will be required to document test plans, test procedures, and test results for each assigned job. Collaboration with Engineering and Assembly teams will be essential to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operations align with functional specifications and customer requirements. Your role will involve identifying, diagnosing, and repairing electronic failures at the component level. It is crucial for you to possess a willingness to learn and a basic understanding of electro-mechanical assembly. Proficiency in using a computer and software such as Microsoft Excel/Word is necessary for this position. While 0+ years of experience are required, having an Associates degree in a technical discipline will be advantageous. Technical knowledge in Electrical/Electronics/Computer fields is desired but not mandatory. Furthermore, familiarity with ESD best practices and demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting electronic circuits will be beneficial. We welcome individuals who have experience in building gaming computers and hobby items. The minimum educational requirement for this role is a High School Diploma or equivalent.
