Validation Technician

Role Overview: As a member of the team, you will be responsible for performing customer support activities related to the installation, preventative and corrective maintenance, and testing of electronic equipment and sub-systems utilized for monitoring nuclear power levels in the nuclear industry. Your primary tasks will include conducting electrical testing of components, printed circuits, assemblies, and systems. Additionally, you will be required to document test plans, test procedures, and test results for each assigned job. Collaboration with Engineering and Assembly teams will be essential to ensure that manufacturing, construction, installation, and operations align with functional specifications and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Perform installation, maintenance, and testing activities on electronic equipment and sub-systems used in monitoring nuclear power levels - Conduct electrical testing of components, printed circuits, assemblies, and systems - Document test plans, test procedures, and test results for each assigned job - Collaborate with Engineering and Assembly teams to ensure alignment with functional specifications and customer requirements - Identify, diagnose, and repair electronic failures at the component level - Possess a willingness to learn and a basic understanding of electro-mechanical assembly - Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Excel/Word for various tasks Qualifications Required: - 0+ years of experience required, Associates degree in a technical discipline advantageous - Technical knowledge in Electrical/Electronics/Computer fields desired but not mandatory - Familiarity with ESD best practices and proficiency in troubleshooting electronic circuits beneficial - Experience in building gaming computers and hobby items welcomed - Minimum educational requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent If you are enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment where you can apply your technical skills and grow professionally, we encourage you to apply for this position.
