The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys for a variety of projects, including boundary surveys, topographic mapping, and construction staking. This role requires a combination of fieldwork to gather data and office work to process and analyse findings. The Surveyor will work closely with engineers, architects, and clients to ensure the accuracy of all measurements and the successful completion of projects. Key Responsibilities Conduct Field Surveys: Perform various types of land surveys, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking, using a range of surveying equipment such as GPS, total stations, and drones. Data Collection and Analysis: Accurately collect and record survey data, including measurements, angles, and elevations. Analyse and interpret field data to create detailed maps, plans, and reports. Mapping and Drafting: Utilize CAD software and other specialized programs to draft survey plans, plats, and legal descriptions of property.
