UX Designer

GreenStitch is looking for a creative and user-focused UX Designer to be a part of their team. As a UX Designer at GreenStitch, your primary responsibility will be to design intuitive, responsive, and visually engaging digital experiences that meet both user needs and business objectives. You will collaborate with various teams to conduct user research, create wireframes and prototypes, and perform usability testing to ensure seamless user experiences. Your role will involve advocating for user-centered design practices and contributing to the overall innovation and sustainability of digital products at GreenStitch. Your key responsibilities will include: User Research: - Conducting user research through interviews, surveys, usability testing, and user journey mapping to understand user needs and behaviors. - Analyzing research data to derive insights that will guide design decisions and lead to user-centric solutions. Wireframing And Prototyping: - Creating wireframes, prototypes, and interactive designs to effectively communicate design concepts. - Developing low and high-fidelity prototypes for user testing and incorporating feedback. UI/UX Design: - Designing intuitive, visually appealing, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications. - Collaborating with developers to ensure proper implementation of designs while maintaining consistency across platforms. Communication: - Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to align designs with project requirements and business goals. - Presenting design concepts to stakeholders, gathering feedback, and iterating on designs based on user testing results. Design System Maintenance: - Contributing to the development and upkeep of a design system to ensure consistency across all products and platforms. - Ensuring adherence to design guidelines and best practices across various touchpoints. Staying Current With Design Trends: - Keeping abreast of the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure that designs remain fresh, modern, and user-centric. - Promoting user-centered design principles and best practices within the team. Qualifications: - Experience: 2-5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design or a related field. - Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field. Technical Skills: - Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar. - Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design. - Experience with creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows. - Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first design. Nice-to-Have: - Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). - Knowledge of usability testing methods and tools (e.g., Hotjar, UserTesting). - Experience with accessibility standards and best practices. Soft Skills: - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design decisions and rationale.
