UX Design Engineer

As a UX Design Engineer 4 at Amadeus, you will be a part of the team dedicated to enhancing the travel experience for both travelers and the operational teams involved. Your primary responsibility will be working on the Airport Operation Center (APOC) project, which aims to provide a virtual solution for integrating and monitoring operational data, managing disruptions, and improving communication channels for stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Design user-interface functionalities following usability principles and best design practices. - Collaborate with customers and project teams to translate requirements into user-friendly interfaces. - Conduct idea and design workshops, create wireframes and mock-ups, and coordinate reviews with stakeholders. - Review and test software for usability and design adherence, incorporating feedback for iterative improvements. - Document solutions and share best practices to support continuous enhancement. Qualifications Required: - Degree in UX/UI Design or related field, or equivalent industry experience. - Demonstrated experience in UI/UX design with a portfolio of projects. - Strong creativity and visual design skills, with the ability to present designs effectively. - Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design, proficiency in Figma. - Familiarity with end-user testing, Agile development processes, and Atlassian tools. - Effective communication and collaboration skills, with an interest in coaching and mentoring. - Experience in the travel industry is a plus but not mandatory.
