Job Summary:

Senior Engineering Manager – UI

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage multiple UI development teams in delivering Angular-based applications
Drive frontend architecture decisions, best practices, and coding standards
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define and deliver high-quality UI features
Ensure technical excellence, code quality, and performance optimization across UI codebases
Provide hands-on guidance and mentoring to engineers at various levels
Define and execute UI technology strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals
Manage project plans, resource allocation, and timelines for UI deliverables
Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and technologies for frontend development
Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning

Required Skills & Experience:

10–16 years of software development experience, with at least 5 years in UI-focused roles
Strong expertise in
Angular (v8+)
is mandatory
Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend tooling
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs integration and state management (NgRx or similar)
Experience in building scalable, responsive web applications
Solid understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and security best practices
Proven experience in leading and mentoring frontend engineering teams
Strong project management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and frontend test automation
Familiarity with micro frontend architecture
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
