User Experience Designer

As a User Experience Designer in the Digital Consulting team, you will work closely with potential clients during the sales cycle and ongoing engagements with existing clients to design and deliver high-quality User Experiences for the end users of the product/solution developed. You are expected to acquire an appreciation of the client's vertical and a deep understanding of the end users of the product/solution being developed. Responsibilities: - Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with business analysts, functional consultants, and engineers. - Conduct user research to understand the target audience. - Create UX-UI concepts for presenting to clients during presales. - Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps. - Design graphic user interfaces and elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets. - Develop page navigation buttons and search fields. - Build UI mockups and prototypes illustrating site functionality and appearance clearly. - Create original graphic designs like images, sketches, and tables. - Present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders. - Identify and troubleshoot UX problems, including responsiveness. - Make layout adjustments based on user feedback. - Adhere to style standards related to fonts, colors, and images. - Provide training and mentorship to team members. Skills required: - 5+ years of proven work experience as a UX Designer or in a similar role. - Good knowledge of web standards such as accessibility, Semantic web, SEO, etc. - Understanding of Grid systems, HTML/CSS frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, etc. (hands-on experience desirable). - Knowledge in designing themes for CMS systems like Drupal, WordPress, Magento, etc. - Portfolio showcasing UX and UI projects. - Proficiency in wireframe/prototyping tools like Axure, InVision. - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe XD/Illustrator, Sketch, Photoshop. - Team spirit with strong communication skills for collaboration. - Good time-management skills. - Understanding of UX Processes. Education: - Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: - 5 years of experience in user experience design preferred.
