Job Description

Responsible for preparing and reviewing Trust income tax returns (1041) and serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients.
Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues, stayed updated on changes and interpreted new laws and regulations.
Collaborate with team of tax professional across US and India region.
Conduct training sessions and mentor the junior staff on tax regulations, compliance and company procedures.
Assisting clients during tax audits, preparing necessary documentation and liaising with tax authorities to resolve issues.
Reviewing financial statements, reports and analysis for review of the senior management, ensuring transparency and regulatory compliance.
Ensure accurate reporting of tax provisions in financial statements and maintaining proper documentation for audit purposes.
Assist in special projects such as tax research initiatives, technology implementation and process optimization.
Reviewing hedge fund K-1s, ensuring all relevant information is accurately reported.
Performing quarterly estimate review and yearly reconciliations.
Monitored the team, providing guidance, training and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
