US Tax Payroll

Responsibilities

• Process and manage US tax payroll for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in preparing and filing various tax forms and returns, including but not limited to Form 941, Form 940, W-2, W-3, and state-specific payroll tax returns.
• Handle inquiries and correspondence related to payroll and tax matters from clients and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll data and related accounting entries.
• Perform regular reconciliations and audits of payroll accounts to identify discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and other accounting documents as required.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and industry trends relevant to US payroll and accounting practices.
• Provide support to senior team members and management on ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Semi-qualified CPA/EA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 months to 1 year of relevant experience in US tax payroll processing and accounting.
• Proficiency in using payroll software and accounting software, with experience in platforms such as QuickBooks, ADP, or similar tools preferred.
• Strong understanding of US payroll tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
