Job Description

As a US SMB Sales Manager at our fast-growing and innovative SaaS company based in Chennai, India, you will play a crucial role in leading and scaling our SMB sales efforts targeting the US market. Your responsibilities will include: - Driving the transition from inbound to outbound sales by developing and expanding a structured prospecting strategy tailored for SMB customers in the US. - Managing and empowering India-based telesales teams to consistently deliver results for US SMB accounts. In this role, you will need to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, establish frameworks, motivate teams, and ensure predictable revenue growth. You will be expected to have: - 7-10 years of progressive sales experience with a minimum of 3 years managing high-output sales teams. - Proven success in US SMB telesales, including the ability to build and scale outbound sales strategies. - Strong leadership skills to inspire, coach, and drive accountability in distributed teams. - Experience with sales technologies such as Outreach, ZoomInfo, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools. - Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills. - SaaS experience is preferred, and a background in SMB-focused sales is advantageous. In your previous roles, you must have: - Spearheaded the shift from inbound to outbound sales, implementing structured prospecting frameworks and outreach programs tailored for SMB customers in the US market. - Managed and motivated India-based telesales teams catering to US SMBs, ensuring alignment, accountability, and communication across global teams. - Designed and executed coaching frameworks and KPI dashboards to enhance AE productivity, focusing on ownership, data-driven performance reviews, and skill development. - Advocated for sales process improvements by adopting CRMs, dialers, and automation tools, standardizing playbooks, and reporting systems to ensure scalability and success in outbound outreach.
