Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and underwrite US mortgage loan applications.
• Review applicant financial documents and assess creditworthiness.
• Apply the 4 Cs (Credit, Capacity, Collateral, Capital) to underwriting decisions.
• Ensure compliance with federal guidelines and mortgage regulations.
• Perform accurate income calculations and validate supporting documents.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Make sound, independent underwriting decisions within established policies.

Skills Required

• Minimum 2 years of experience in US Mortgage Underwriting.
• Strong expertise in:
• Income calculations
• 4 Cs Credit, Capacity, Collateral, and Capital
• Federal guidelines & mortgage regulations
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of current or recent experience as a US Mortgage Underwriter.
