Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for web & mobile applications that enhance user interaction with complex data, ensuring data visualizations are easily navigable.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to understand the needs of diverse users and incorporate findings into design improvements.
Work closely with developers, data scientists, and product managers to ensure that the user experience aligns with technical capabilities and business goals, maintaining a balance between functionality and design aesthetics.
Develop prototypes, wireframes, and mockups for applications, including both web and mobile platforms, to communicate design ideas and workflows to stakeholders and development teams.
Stay updated with UI/UX trends and best practices, specifically for data visualization, ensuring that designs meet modern usability standards and enhance the overall user experience.

Preferred candidate profile

Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and Illustrator for creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs.
Expertise in tools such as InVision, Axure, or Balsamiq for creating interactive prototypes and detailed wireframes.
Experience conducting user research, surveys, interviews, and usability tests to inform design decisions and improve user flows.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to communicate effectively with developers and understand how designs will be implemented.
