Job Description

Job Role : Senior AI/ML Model Developer

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities

As a senior AI engineer role in the Risk AI Applications team, you will:

Design and develop AI applications that enhance the efficiency of the Firms Risk Management processes, and help risk managers to gain new insights
Contribute hands-on to software development using Python and AI/ML models, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT-4
Collaborate and interact with risk managers, model reviewers, and other internal and external stakeholders
Operate as part of a global team

You will contribute directly as a hands-on developer while mentoring junior team members.

Required Skills

Over 5 years of relevant work experience in AI/ML, software engineering, or related fields
Graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance, Physics, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent
Proven track record of Python programming
Sound understanding of financial concepts and products
Keen interest in AI/ML concepts
Familiarity with modern development best practices, such as Unit Testing and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment
Strategic mindset, good business sense and judgment, creative problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with both specialist and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal

Desirable Skills

People management experience, including mentoring junior developers
Familiarity with AI models and its capabilities
