Job Title: Senior Rotating Equipment Design Engineer

Senior Rotating Equipment Design Engineer

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in both onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
Familiarity with digital engineering tools and 3D modeling.

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and specification of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, blowers, and motors.
Prepare and review technical datasheets, specifications, and requisition packages.
Conduct technical bid evaluations and assist procurement in vendor selection.
Coordinate with vendors for design reviews, inspections, and testing (FAT/SAT).
Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (API, ASME, ISO, etc.).
Collaborate with process, piping, instrumentation, and project teams for seamless integration.
Review and approve vendor drawings and documentation.
Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 10 years of experience in rotating equipment design within the oil & gas industry.
Strong knowledge of API standards (API 610, API 617, API 618, etc.).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in both onshore and offshore oil & gas projects.
Familiarity with digital engineering tools and 3D modeling.
