Azure Senior CloudOps Engineer

Primary Skills

• Complete hands-on individual contributor required.
• Must have performed Azure engineer role for 6-8 years.
• Azure Cloud Operations Eng. with system administration
• Manually deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting - Virtual Machines, Network Security Groups, Azure Monitor, Log analytics, Insights, backup and Site Recovery
• Knowledge of other cloud services will be added advantage.
• OS administration exp
• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various Windows version e.g. 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019 etc and or Linux OS flavors and versions such as Red Hat Linux/ RHEL, SUSE Linux etc.
• Knowledge of Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting applications on Windows and or Linux.
• Azure Certification is preferred.
• Experience provisioning various Azure services required for a large-scale enterprise organization.
• Experience in Windows, Unix and Linux server administration and configurations.
• Understanding of Virtualization and Containerization concepts.
• Experience in monitoring the application servers, containers and nodes using AppDynamics, cloudmonitor etc.
• Should be able to use any ticketing tools like Service Now, Jira etc. ticketing tools to plan and track the work.

Secondary Skills

• Experience with Terraform and infra as a code automation tools.
• Knowledge of using Playbooks or Cookbooks to automate the installations, deployments, configuration management and application life cycle management tasks using Ansible, Chef etc.
• Experience with Docker container life cycle management, Docker service management, Docker volumes
• Knowledge on Azure DevOps build - deployment pipelines / Jenkins for automating the code compilation, packaging, docker image builds and deployments.
• Knowledge of using Git, Subversion, perforce etc. for version control.
• Experience with log monitoring tools like Splunk, ELK Stack.
