Urgent Hiring For the role Piping Designer | New Delhi & Noida

We are seeking an experienced SP3D Piping Designer to join our engineering team in the Oil & Gas sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing piping designs using SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) software to support engineering projects from concept through construction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. 3D Modeling:

   Develop and maintain detailed piping layouts and models in SP3D, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.

2. Piping Design:

   Interpret P&IDs, piping material specifications, and equipment layouts to produce accurate piping designs.

3. Isometric Generation:

   Extract piping isometrics and general arrangement (GA) drawings from the 3D model for fabrication and construction.

4. Design Review Participation:

   Actively participate in 3D model review sessions (30%, 60%, 90%) and provide technical input for design optimization.

5. Data Management:

   Maintain accuracy of all design data and ensure proper integration with SmartPlant Reference Data and other engineering tools.

6. Specification Compliance:

   Ensure all piping design work complies with relevant codes (ASME, API), standards, and project-specific requirements.

7. Field Support:

   Provide support during site visits, constructability reviews, and resolution of field design issues.

8. Coordination:

   Collaborate closely with process, mechanical, structural, and instrumentation teams to ensure seamless design integration.

9. Documentation:

   Prepare and maintain design documentation, including design basis reports, MTOs, and as-built drawings.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• 5+ years of piping design experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
  
• Proficient in

  SP3D

  , with working knowledge of other tools like MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Strong knowledge of piping materials, specifications, and fabrication techniques.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
