Role Summary

The Interior Designer will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing interior spaces with a strong technical and engineering approach. The role includes developing detailed drawings, coordinating with MEP, civil, and architectural teams, selecting materials, and ensuring design feasibility as per safety and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior concepts, layouts, and 3D visualizations based on client requirements.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, BOQs, material specifications, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, structural and MEP engineers to ensure design compatibility.
• Conduct site visits to ensure design execution aligns with approved drawings and quality standards.
• Select materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that meet both aesthetic and technical criteria.
• Present design proposals to clients and incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely and accurate project execution.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and engineering guidelines.
• Monitor project progress,resolve on-site design challenges, and ensure cost-efficient solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Interior Design / Architecture / Interior Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, Photoshop, or similar design software.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination and construction detailing.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and interior engineering standards.
• Ability to read and produce detailed technical drawings.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Creative design sense with technical accuracy.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in commercial, residential.
• Knowledge of project management and site supervision.
• Experience with cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and vendor management.
