Job Description – Accounts Executive

Position Overview

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, statutory compliance, and supporting audits. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting knowledge, hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally ERP, and excellent communication skills in English. This role requires accuracy, responsibility, and the ability to manage multiple accounting tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes, including invoice verification, vendor payments, collections, and reconciliation.
  • Manage the purchase cycle, ensuring correct documentation, approvals, GRN matching, and timely posting of entries.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST returns and reconciliations, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and basic Income Tax compliance.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely closure of books.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including data preparation, documentation, and query resolution.
  • Work extensively with Zoho and Tally ERP for accounting entries, reports, and reconciliations.
  • Use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for reporting, documentation, and analysis.
  • Coordinate with vendors, customers, and internal teams for smooth financial operations.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure accuracy in all financial entries and reports.
  • Vendor reconciliation and Prepare Payment files

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong accounting fundamentals and understanding of end-to-end accounting cycles.
  • Hands-on experience with Zoho Books and Tally ERP is mandatory.
  • Good knowledge of GST, e-invoice, e-way bill, and TDS and TCS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Good communication skills with fluency in English.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in audit coordination or compliance-related activities.
  • Knowledge of additional ERP or accounting software is an added advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
